The Boat : You shouldn't be here

The boat was old and creaky, but Sarah didn't care. She had always loved spending time on the river, and the boat was her ticket to adventure. She packed a bag with some food and water, put on her life jacket, and set out on the river.

The sun was shining, and the river was calm. Sarah felt at peace as she floated down the river, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. But as the sun started to set, Sarah realized that she had lost track of time. She decided to find a spot to dock the boat and set up camp for the night.

As Sarah was searching for a good spot, she noticed a strange smell. It was a sickly sweet smell, like something rotting in the sun. She tried to ignore it and continued on, but the smell only grew stronger.

Finally, Sarah found a spot to dock the boat. She set up her tent and started a fire, trying to shake off the feeling of unease that was creeping over her. As she was cooking her dinner, she noticed a strange shape in the water. It was too dark to see clearly, but it looked like a person floating face-down in the water.

Sarah tried to convince herself that it was just her imagination, but the feeling of unease only grew stronger. She ate her dinner quickly and climbed into her tent, hoping to get some sleep. But every time she closed her eyes, she could hear the sound of something scraping against the side of the boat.

As the night went on, Sarah's unease turned to terror. She could hear strange whispers in the darkness, and the smell of decay was overwhelming. She tried to leave the tent to investigate, but the sound of something moving in the water stopped her.

As Sarah lay in her tent, frozen with fear, she heard a voice whisper in her ear, "You shouldn't be here." She tried to scream, but no sound came out. The voice continued, "You're not the first to come here. And you won't be the last."

The next morning, Sarah woke up to find the boat in disarray. Her food and water were gone, and her life jacket was torn to shreds. She tried to push the memories of the night before out of her mind and set out down the river.

But as the day went on, Sarah realized that something was wrong. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched, and the smell of decay was still lingering in the air. She tried to tell herself that it was just her imagination, but the feeling only grew stronger.

As she rounded a bend in the river, Sarah saw a figure standing on the shore. It was too far away to make out any details, but Sarah could feel its eyes on her. She tried to paddle faster, but the figure seemed to be keeping pace with her.

As the sun started to set, Sarah saw a dock in the distance. She breathed a sigh of relief and paddled towards it. But as she got closer, she realized that the dock was old and rotting. It looked like it hadn't been used in years.

Sarah tried to turn around and paddle away, but something was holding the boat in place. She looked down and saw a pair of hands gripping the side of the boat. They were pale and bloated, like they had been in the water for too long.

Sarah tried to scream, but the hands pulled her under the water. She could feel the cold water closing in around her, and the smell of decay was overwhelming. She tried to fight back, but the hands were too strong.

As Sarah sank deeper and deeper into the water, she saw the figure from before standing on the shore. It was a woman, dressed in rags,
